Please Spare A Thought For The Brisbane Flood Victims

I know that most of you that come to this site are busy dealing with your back pain issues, but I would like to ask you to give a thought to the victims of the floods currently affecting my home town of Brisbane, Australia.

At the moment the city is reeling from the worst floods we’ve seen in 40 years. So far 15 people have lost their lives, there are a total of 61 people still unaccounted for, 7,500 homes have been affected and there is over 4,000 people in evacuation centres around the city.

Thankfully we live in an area that has been largely unaffected, although in the images from our front balcony below you can see the sheer volume of water that passed through the valley below us. The first image was taken a few days before Christmas and the second was taken last Tuesday, the 11th January.

You can read more about these devastating floods HERE and if you are in a position to do so, I’m sure a donation to Flood Relief Appeal would be gratefully appreciated.

Thank You,

Craig
