I have been suffering and depressed for so long. I push myself to do things I shouldn't do because of my young kids. People see that and think I have no problems. I suffer for doing those things. If I clean my house the way it needs to be done, I cannot move for 2 to 3 days after. I feel your pain. Even my husband does not understand it. I have been denied the 3 level lumbar ADR surgery. If I had tons of money I could get it. Insurance is a joke. They think this surgery is optional not necessary. I wonder if they or a loved one suffered if they would change their mind. I keep on keeping on just because of my kids. Somedays though, horrible thoughts enter my mind and I just want to quit. So thank you for sharing. Only another chronic pain sufferer can understand! God Bless all of you!

Interesting article you have here. Back problems also develop bad posture to anyone even in children. You may want to visit my website on the link I posted with the comment. I wrote a book about back pain care entitled "This is Why Your Back Hurts", you may want to check it out. Thanks

Chiropractic care is indeed controversial....even most primary care physicians will not recommend this form of back pain treatment.

I would tend not to agree with the "exercise" portion of the chiropractic intervention you mentioned. Most chiropractors are not trained in therapeutic exercise. And they certainly are not teaching home exercise programs to their patients. Working in the healthcare field for 14 years and I have rarely seen it if at all.

Check out this article, http://www.bulgingdiscfixed.com/Bulging-Disc-pain-and-chiropractic-care.html

It is quite relevant to the topic.

Craig, I agree with you. Back surgery is indeed controversial. I mean people undergo it to end pain experience but I've been reading a lot of testimonials how back surgery brought them the same pain experience that lead to another operation. Exercise is the best way to keep back pains away.

Back packs are one of the causes of back pain. So what do you think is the best way to keep these children from experiencing back problems since they always bring books in school. How about using trolley school bags?
